The North White Chapel - Kirkwood Branch Bridge Replacement project is on schedule as detour signs and barricades are officially up, and concrete removal has begun. Although this is good news for the long-time structural integrity of the bridge and the “big picture” infrastructure of the City, we know road closures make it hard to know the best way to get around town. To help alleviate some stress with this closure, as well as the SH 114 Westbound Ramp closure, we have compiled a list of detours to use on your next commute. As a note, the Public Works team urges drivers to avoid cutting through the Clariden Ranch neighborhood as this is leading to more severe traffic issues. Using the provided detours will help alleviate traffic buildup and facilitate the overall traffic flow.
