When it comes to the future of mobility, the Southlake Mobility Team is steadily working ahead. Improvements are coming to the intersections of Dove Road at Kirkwood Boulevard and N. Carroll Avenue at Federal Way.

The scope of work will include paving, pedestrian sidewalks, curb ramps, and traffic signal work.

Dove Road and Kirkwood Boulevard

The purpose of the project taking place at the Dove Road at Kirkwood Boulevard intersection is to improve traffic signal safety and efficiency as well as accommodate a new south leg of the intersection by adding a new traffic signal.

This project will also address the increase in traffic volumes and support the continuous connection along Kirkwood Boulevard.

N. Carroll Avenue and Federal Way

Improvements on N. Carroll Avenue and Federal Way will include median and pavement enhancements, updated signage, pavement markings, and crosswalk improvements. Upgrades to pedestrian facilities will also take place along N. Carroll Avenue.

Work is expected to start on Monday, February 28. This project is expected to be completed by May 2022, weather permitting. For more information, including updates, follow the Southlake Mobility Facebook page or visit www.ConnectSouthlake.com.
