Contractors are getting closer to completing the drainage installation on N. White Chapel.

The City has contracted two crews to work on both ends of the project simultaneously.

One crew is installing drainage infrastructure from Dragon Drive to the 1200 block of N. White Chapel, while a separate crew is installing drainage infrastructure from Chapel Downs to Mission Drive.

Landscapers have also started grading and installing sod from Emerald Boulevard to San Saba Drive.

Drainage installation is expected to be completed around the beginning of April, weather permitting.

The N. White Chapel Widening Project is estimated to cost $17 million and is scheduled to be completed by spring 2022, weather permitting.
