With the holidays approaching and foot traffic increasing it’s important to be in the know about road alerts and construction projects happening around town.

Below is a list of upcoming projects:

Roadwork on Creekside Drive

Contractors will be conducting roadway work at Creekside Drive as part of the ongoing Capital Improvement Program project starting Monday, November 14, 2022, through Friday, December 16, 2022, weather permitting. Work will take place from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Alternating closures will occur during this time, with work starting and impacting the southbound lane followed by the northbound lane. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times, and residents will be provided with temporary driveway access.

Water Valve Replacement

Southlake Water Utilities will replace a broken isolation water valve at the corner of Randol Mill Avenue and Morgan Road. The planned outage will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a necessary repair for emergency preparedness.  As a friendly reminder, 11 properties have been notified earlier this week via door hangers.

Road Reconstruction Project

Reynolds Asphalt Construction will be starting Phase II of the Shady Lane Road Reconstruction Project.

Contractors will be on site starting Monday, November 28, 2022. Work is estimated to be completed by Friday, December 16, 2022, weather permitting. Once Phase II is complete, work will commence in 2023. Contractors will overlay a 2-inch surface finish of asphalt from the Kimball Avenue entrance to SH 114 service road.
