Southlake Fire Welcomes New Firefighters, Recruits

Fire Chief Michael Starr and Deputy Chief Wilson welcomed the new firefighters with a badge-pinning ceremony. Loved ones came up one by one to place badges on their jackets. In total, the department received one new Battalion Chief, one EMS Lieutenant, and five new recruits:

Chief Starr stated, “On behalf of the Southlake Fire Department, I wish to congratulate our newest recruits and their families. We are looking forward to working with you to keep our community safe. Congratulations on a job well done! To those being pinned as new members of the Southlake Fire Department, congratulations. Your hard work and leadership will be looked upon by our newest firefighters as you take on more responsibilities within the Department. Congratulations to you and your families, and thank you for your service to our Southlake Fire Department and our City of Southlake.”
