On Friday, April 30th, the Southlake Police Department held a promotional and award ceremony at DPS Headquarters.  The ceremony was for three promotions, a Supervisor and Civilian of the Year award, several Officer of the Quarter awards, as well as a Special Recognition Award.

In the community room filled with family, friends, and other officers, Chief Brandon promoted Corporal Christopher Melton to Sergeant, Officer Micah Davis to Corporal, and Officer Stefan Petrovich to Corporal.  “We should never underestimate the effect and influence of our supervisors, and I know that our promotees will have a great impact on the future of our department,” Chief Brandon said.

Chief Brandon also recognized Corporal Blas Hernandez as the Supervisor of the Year and Records Manager Sarah Blum as the Civilian of the Year.  A Special Recognition award was also presented to Adam Henry, a management biologist with the Texas Wildlife Services who assists Southlake with the feral hog program.

Chief Brandon also recognized Officer Jennifer Page as Officer of the Quarter for Q4 of 2020, Stefan Petrovich as Officer of the Quarter for Q1 of 2021, and SRO Scott Cepak as Officer of the Quarter for Q2 of 2021.

Please congratulate these officers around town for their hard work and dedication to the City of Southlake.
