Whether you’re looking to add shade to your yard, enhance your landscape, or leave a lasting legacy for future generations, the program makes it easy to get involved while helping grow Southlake’s urban canopy.
This fall, residents can choose from two purchase windows:
Launch 1: August 3 through September 6
Launch 2: September 7 through October 4
Each launch features a selection of high-quality 5 gallon trees available for purchase. Details on available species, pricing, pickup dates, and purchase information can be found on the 2026 Trees in 2026 website.
Residents may also choose between two convenient participation options:
Plant It Yourself
Purchase a tree to pick up and plant at your home, allowing you to make a lasting investment in your property while contributing to Southlake’s community-wide goal.
Volunteer Delivery & Planting
Qualifying residents ages 55 and older may purchase a tree and have it delivered and planted by volunteers, making it easy to participate regardless of physical ability.
The 2026 Trees in 2026 initiative extends beyond residential tree purchases. Throughout the year, residents can also participate by attending community planting events, picking up free saplings at select City events, volunteering, or supporting the initiative through sponsorship opportunities. Together, these efforts will help create a greener, healthier Southlake for generations to come.
