Adult Athletic Leagues Available

Calling all adults! If you’ve been itching to play some football, or take a swing at a softball, now is your chance.

Southlake Parks and Recreation is offering sports programming this fall and you’re invited to join in the fun!

Adult Co-ed Softball is a great way to play the game with your friends, family, and co-workers. Register a team and be a part of the recreational league. Men’s Over 35 Softball is another option to get you out on the diamond together with your hand picked team, it’s sure to be a home-run.

Flag Football is also available in the co-ed and men’s only varieties. Register your team with up to 20 players, a six game season, leading up to the playoffs, get ready to score some touchdowns!

Sign-Up for Adult Programs Today

The kids aren’t the only ones who get to have fun. Southlake offers programs for adults (18+) so everybody can get in on the action!

Try the Women’s Self-Defense class. Designed to empower women to fight back by teaching techniques on how to survive an attack from an assailant, several defenses, what to do if tackled, and much more.

Get your groove on with the Bollywood Dance program, where you can learn the dance moves of your favorite movie stars and have a little fun while getting some amazing exercise.

Speaking of exercise don’t forget to sign-up for The Southlake LiveFit Pass which will give you unlimited access to all City of Southlake group fitness classes on an unlimited basis for an entire month.

Join the City of Southlake this fall for Adult 8 on 8 Flag Football

Do you and your friends love to play football? This fall, Southlake’s popular Adult 8 on 8 Flag Football is back!  Open to teams with players ages 17 and up, this is a great team building opportunity for local businesses or just a nice way to get out with friends.

Rosters can include up to 20 players. Game ball, officials, scorekeepers and flags will be provided, teams must provide their own jerseys. Games will be played on Saturdays at North Park with game times running anytime from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The cost is $330 per team. Click here for more information and to register.

Register for Adult Co-ed Church Flag Football this fall

Southlake’s Community Services Department offers adults ages 18 or older the chance to play in the Adult Co-ed 8 on 8 Church Flag Football this fall. This is a great way to strengthen bonds between you and your fellow church goers.

Teams may have up to 20 players and a church representative must sign off on a roster stating the team is affiliated with a church.

Game ball, officials, scorekeepers and flags will be provided, teams must provide their own jerseys. Games will be played at North Park on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This will be a six-game season and the top teams will advance to playoffs. The cost per team is $330.00. Click here for more information and to register.

Men’s Over 35 Fall Softball registration is now open!

Join in the fun with some good friends in Southlake’s Men’s Over 35 Softball League. Whether you consider the league a team building exercise for the office or a fun way to spend time with friends, the City of Southlake’s adult softball program is always a blast.

Teams must register by September 8, 2015 and must be age 35 or older by the date of the first scheduled game (teams may have up to 4 players between the ages of 30 and 34).  The 2015 fall season begins on September 14 and runs through November 2 with a league tournament scheduled for November 9 – 16. Teams may have up to 4 players between the ages of 30 and 34.

New Adult Flag Football Program Offered in Southlake!

Get your teams ready to meet us on the gridiron!

The City of Southlake is now offering Adult 8-on-8 Flag Football!  Get your team ready and meet us on the gridiron this spring! The season runs from April 11 through May 25, 2015 and games will be played on Saturdays at North Park and Bob Jones Park.

Players must 16 years of age or older at the start of season.  The cost is $330 per team and rosters can include up to 20 players. Flags, game balls, officiating and score keeping will be provided. If you have any questions, or to request more information please call (817) 748-8022.
