Seniors Bring their Artistic Talents to the Senior Activity Center

Our Senior Activity Center members’ interests are diverse—that’s why our Senior Services Team works hard to provide programs across various disciplines.

Senior Center members find community with like-minded individuals through our clubs and special programs. There’s something for everyone at the Southlake Senior Activity Center, from Mah Jongg, Poker, and Bridge to knitting, flower arranging, and painting!

There’s no denying that our members love the arts. Our Intermediate and Advanced Art Classes are among our most popular programs! Our members are always ready to share their artistic talents with the 55 and better community. We love displaying their creations and admiring their visions. Whether someone has always dreamt of picking up a paintbrush or has years of prior art experience, our Art Classes consistently fill up! Nothing is more fun than creating art with friends.

For those who prefer to admire art rather than make it, mark your calendars for the Senior Center Art Show on Wednesday, September 7, at 10:30 AM. Members will showcase their artistic talent in a variety of media. You may even be able to pick up an original!

Our members have so much to offer, and we are thankful that they choose to share their talents with us!
