Dragon Offensive Linemen Garner All-State Accolades

Ryan Miller, All-State Center

Two Carroll Dragon offensive linemen were selected among the best in the state this year in Class 6A.

Dragon left tackle Carson Green and center Ryan Miller were both Associated Press Class 6A First-Team selections. Green, who has committed to Texas A&M, graded out at 98 percent and had 81 knockdowns and didn’t allow a sack.

Ryan Miller, who moved to starting center this season, graded at 96 percent and had 101 knockdowns and also didn’t allow a sack. Miller was also part of the rotation on the defensive line.

Both seniors helped pave the way for an offense that produced 1,000-yard rusher Audricke Gaines and provided protection for quarterback Mason Holmes — the District 5-6A Most Valuable Player.

Kicker Kole Ramage, who has signed to play baseball at Arkansas, was a second-team all-state selection.

Ramage was also Honorable Mention as a punter along with safety Robert Barnes.
