July Summer Camps: Athletics & Dance

You can register for all of our camps online or in person at Champions Club (285 Shady Oaks Drive).

Popular camps fill quickly, so be sure to register early. Camps that do not meet minimum registration requirements two business days prior to their scheduled start date will be canceled.

Beginner Basketball Camp
July 8–11 | Ages 5–7 | Learn more & register

This super-fun basketball camp is designed for players of all levels. Instructors use a variety of activities and drills to help athletes improve their dribbling, passing, shooting and rebounding skills. Part of each class will be devoted to scrimmages.

Dodgeball Camp
July 15–18 | Ages 8–12 | Learn more & register

Our ultra-popular program includes several versions of dodgeball. The emphasis is on fun, teamwork and exercise. We will play many different versions of the classic game using the new coated foam balls. These balls are safe and perfect for fun indoor play! Groups are divided based on ages.

Volleyball Camp
July 15–18 | Ages 7–12 | Learn more & register

Bowmen Volleyball Camp is designed for new players who are learning the game as well as experienced players who are gearing up for more competitive play. Drills, games and individual instruction are used to build fundamental skills including serving, passing, setting and hitting. Players will have the opportunity to practice their skills in game situations during the camp tournament.

TGA Premier Junior Golf Camp
July 15–19 | Ages 6–14 | Learn more & register

TGA Premier Junior Golf Camp is a perfect fit for any child looking to learn the game of golf or sharpen his or her skills. Golf skills will be taught and developed through a combination of physical activities and academic lessons. Every student will receive a hat, ball and TGA student handbook.

Hawaiian Hullabaloo Summer Fun Dance Camp
July 22–26 | Ages 3–5 & 6–12 | Learn more & register

Your little dancer will love this tropical-themed week filled with dance and Hawaiian arts and crafts. We’ll even assemble and eat our own fruit kabob! Students should wear a leotard and tights and bring both their tap and ballet shoes to class in a backpack or dance bag. Dancers will receive a hula skirt outfit to take home the final camp day.

Basketball Tech Camp

Basketball Tech Camp is perfect for players who are looking for a serious and fun basketball experience. In addition to helping players improve their individual dribbling, passing and shooting skills, we also emphasize team concepts to put all of the pieces together. Part of each class will be devoted to scrimmages.

Introduction to Competitive Cheerleading Camp
July 22–26 | Ages 6–12 | Learn more & register

Get in the spirit with TGA Cheerleading Camp! Campers participate in station-based activities that develop tumbling, stunting, choreography, motions, jumps and performance skills in every lesson. TGA coaches follow proper stunt progression and spotting protocol to ensure a safe and fun environment that incorporates academics and life skills.

Flag Football Tech Camp
July 29–August 1 | Ages 7–12 | Learn more & register

Flag Football Tech Camp is a combination QB skills clinic and traditional flag football program. Players will learn drills and exercises for passing and receiving as well as defensive coverage, and each class includes time for scrimmage. We’ll also cover plays, routes and basic football formations. All equipment supplied.

From athletics and recreation to art, science and engineering, our summer camps offer something to spark every child’s imagination. Below you’ll find all of the interesting and exciting camps offered through the City of Southlake this June. Athletics & Recreation

Dodgeball Camp
Date: June 11–14  Time: 1–4 p.m.
Kids ages 7–12 will learn and play multiple versions of this old-school favorite. Cost: $95. Click here to register.

Flag Football Tech Camp
Date: June 11–14  Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
This unique camp is a combination QB skills clinic and traditional flag football program for players ages 7–11. Cost: $98. Click here to register.

Little Kickers Soccer Camp
Date: June 18-22  Time: 9–11 a.m.
This introductory camp uses fun games and drills to teach kids ages 5–10 the fundamentals of soccer. Cost: $99. Click here to register.

Adventures in Art Camp
Date: June 18–21  Time: 9–11:45 a.m.
Artists ages 6–13 create masterpieces in multiple mediums while learning fine art principles. All supplies provided. Cost: $150. Click here to register.

Thymio Robotics: Visual Programming
Date: June 18–22  Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Kids ages 5–7 learn basic coding skills by customizing the behavior of their very own robots. Cost: $185. Click here to register.

Squishy Circuits Electronic Lab
Date: June 18–22  Time: 1–4 p.m.
Squishy Circuits is a hands-on lab that teaches kids ages 5–7 fundamental scientific concepts like magnetism and through safe, engaging and age-appropriate experiments. Cost: $185. Click here to register.

Special Needs Adventures in Art Camp
Date: June 18–21  Time: 6–8 p.m.
Students ages 14 and up unleash their creativity to create their own works of art in a safe, fun and encouraging atmosphere. All supplies provided. Cost: $120. Click here to register.

Junior Red-Hot Robots
Date: June 25–29  Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
Future engineers ages 6–10 will learn about circuits, sensors and power supplies as they build their very own robot. Cost: $190. Click here to register.

NASA Academy of Space Explorers
