Freshman Wins Junior Beach Volleyball Tourney

Carroll freshman Jordan Lackey and her partner Ashley Roberts finished first in the 2014 USA Junior Beach Volleyball tournament at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. on April 5. The duo swept the 16U division without losing a set and became the first team to qualify for the 2014 USAVB Jr. Beach Nationals in Milwaukee, Wis. later this year.

In addition, Lackey also finished third last weekend with her partner Aly MacGilvary at the USA Junior Beach tournament in Glendale, Ariz. Lackey was on the Carroll Lady Dragons freshman volleyball team this year.
