C-STAR Program Hosts Appreciation Breakfast

The Carroll ISD Transition Services Department hosted a special appreciation breakfast on Friday morning, May 25 for local businesses who partner with the department’s new C-STAR program. C-STAR helps Carroll ISD students and graduates transition into the adult working world.

Led by Carroll ISD Transition Services Coordinator/ Diagnostician Robin Kuntz, and Transition Specialist Melinda Mason, C-STAR has successfully placed students in paying jobs in and around the Southlake community. C-STAR was recently featured in the Grapevine Courier print edition in a story that explained how the program partnered with Q Automotive Group to receive a loaner vehicle for CISD’s Transition Services team to use in transporting C-STAR students to their jobs.

The slideshow below features pictures taken at the appreciation breakfast held inside the Carroll Intermediate School library.
