Dragons Meet Bowie In Bi-District Playoff Friday

The Carroll Dragon football team capped off an undefeated run in District 4-5A last Friday against Haltom.

The focus moves to the playoffs as the Dragons face Arlington Bowie in a Class 5A Division I bi-district playoff at Coppell’s Cowboy Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday. Bowie is the Division I No. 2 seed and finished behind Arlington Martin and Lamar in District 3-5A.

Carroll rolled to a 65-7 victory for its ninth consecutive victory against Haltom. The Dragons held a comfortable 38-0 lead at halftime. Quarterback Ryan Agnew was 10-for-15 passing for 196 yards and three touchdowns. Luke Timian caught two TD passes and had five catches for 96 yards. Haltom was held to 218 yards and 11 first downs and lost four fumbles.

Playoff Ticket Information
Tickets go on sale Tuesday at Dragon Stadium, Carroll Senior High School and Carroll High School. Dragon Stadium’s ticket office will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. CSHS and CHS will sell tickets at the front office Tuesday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Pre-game adult admission is $7; students $5. All tickets at the gate are $10.
