The Texas High School Lacrosse League Super Regional is coming to Dragon Stadium this weekend. The Dragons are among the eight teams competing.
The 10-team field regional will be held Saturday and Sunday. The Dragons face San Antonio Anderson at 4 p.m. Saturday. If the Dragons win, they will play Sunday at 1 p.m. in a state quarterfinal against The Woodlands.
The Dragons reached the Super Regional with a dramatic game-winning goal with eight seconds left to defeat defending state champion St. Marks 9-7. The THSLL state championship will be held May 3-4 at Friendswood High School.
Before the playoffs, the Dragons defeated Allen and Coppell in their final two regular season games to reach the playoffs.
Tickets for each day are $8 for students, $10 for adults. Tickets are $2 for Carroll ISD students with ID to the Dragons games. Parking is free. More information can be found at southlakelacrosse.org and Twitter @SCLADragonLax.
