Dragon Tennis Sending Four to State Tourney

LUBBOCK – Four members of the Carroll Dragon tennis team are bound for state.

Battling winds and cold temperatures, girls’ singles player Kelley Anderson, boys’ singles player Eshan Dave and the boys’ doubles team of Collin Alexander and Jack Learmonth qualified for the Class 5A state tournament in Austin on April 28-29.

The Region I tournament was held Monday and Tuesday at Texas Tech’s McLeod Tennis Center.
