THREE-PEATS: Carroll Teams Produce Golden Finish

ROUND ROCK – The Carroll Dragon cross country teams did it again. Both teams earned Class 5A championship three-peats at the state meet in Round Rock last Saturday.

The Lady Dragons were led by Antigone (Tig) Archer, who finished fourth overall. The Dragon were led by Jacob Pickle, who took second overall and was one of three top-10 finishers for the Dragons (4th-Connor Hendrickson; 9th-Eli Canal).

This marked the seventh state championship for the Lady Dragons and the third for the Dragons.
