Carroll ISD Seeking Feedback from Parents, Staff & Taxpayers

Carroll ISD launched a Facility Planning Survey seeking important feedback from parents, staff and taxpayers.

The survey, released Nov. 30, provides the Dragon community an opportunity to answer questions regarding facility needs, technology, projects, managing enrollment and other topics. Parents of Dragons in grades kindergarten-12th and staff received an email with a link to the survey.

Taxpayers wanting to take the survey, please email facility.survey@southlakecarroll.edu and provide your name and address. To request a hard copy, contact 817-949-7080.

The deadline to complete the survey is Wednesday, Dec. 14. If you are unable to complete the survey after starting, revisit the link to return where it was last updated.

The process of evaluating facilities began in the fall of 2015 when the Carroll School Board appointed a Capital Needs Planning Committee (CNPC) to assess and consider all options available for managing current and future student enrollment. The committee was comprised of about 40 local citizens and campus employees representing each of the district’s attendance zones.

In June 2016, the CNPC submitted its recommendations to the School Board for consideration. Carroll ISD began pricing projects and would now like your input on the various projects. CISD puts great value in the opinions and suggestions of its community and your feedback is a key component to the process.
