Lady Dragons Advance To Region Tourney

ARLINGTON – The Carroll Lady Dragon volleyball team continues to shine in the Class 5A playoffs.

The Lady Dragons defeated Arlington in straight sets Monday at Arlington Lamar in a 5A Region I quarterfinal. Carroll won 25-23, 25-19 and 26-24. The Lady Dragons improved to 46-1 with the victory and advance to the Class 5A Region I tournament in Glen Rose starting Friday. This marks the second consecutive year the Lady Dragons have reached the region tournament.

Carroll will face Hebron at 6 p.m. in one region semifinal.
