Dragon Swimmers Compete in Belton Super Quad Meet

The Dragon Swim Teams were in action this past Saturday at the 3rd Annual Belton Super Quad Swim Meet.

This meet pits two of the Top Austin Swim Programs along with Belton HS, (as the centrally located host), against Southlake Carroll one of the Top Programs from the DFW area, in an early-season swimming match. Austin Westlake finished 2nd at the UIL 6A State Swim/Dive Championships last year in both Boys and Girls. Austin Vandergrift’s recently moved up to 6A after being crowned as the 5A State Champions just a couple of years ago.

The Dragons finished undefeated this particular day, with three team wins for the Girls and three team wins for the Boys. It was a nice Team effort by all of our swimmers, while under a strong and heavy training load, looking to other important invitational meets coming up in one or two weeks. Dragon Team depth carried the day.
