Sixteen boys’ and 16 girls’ High School Water Polo teams from four regions competed at the C.I.S.D. Aquatics Center in the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association State tournament last Friday and Saturday.
The Dragon and Lady Dragon teams each finished ninth overall.
The Lady Dragons lost 6-3 to Baytown Sterling, which went on to win the state championship. The Dragons lost to Clear Falls, 12-11. The Dragons went on to finish the tournament with a 17-12 victory over San Antonio Alamo Heights.
