This award, which is the most prestigious award that can be won by a USTA member organization, is based on an organization’s contributions to the community, to non-profit work, and to the growth of tennis through programs, leagues and tournaments.

The Southlake Tennis Center, which is a public tennis facility owned by the City of Southlake and operated by Roxy Tennis, has been a member organization of the USTA since 2002. With this award, STC becomes the Texas Section nominee for National Organization of the Year.

This is not the first time the center has been nationally recognized; the Southlake Tennis Center was named the Public Facility of the Year by the Tennis Industry Association in 2012 and remains the only facility in Texas to receive this honor.
