Citizen Satisfaction Survey Underway

You have thoughts and the City wants to hear them.

The 2017 citizen satisfaction survey is now underway and will be open through November 15. Southlake residents are urged to participate and share their opinions on quality of life, customer service, communication and other key community issues.

Click here to take the survey.

“It’s so important for residents to participate in the survey,” said Mayor Laura Hill. “When you take part, you are helping guide our City’s future.”

Residents will be able to take the survey online, and this year will be able to complete the survey on their mobile device as well. Respondents may participate in a basic survey and will have an option to choose if they would like to continue on to answer additional questions.  This will make it possible for most people to participate, even those who don’t have a lot of extra time.

“The Council and I are looking forward to reviewing the results and making plans to address the ideas and concerns our residents share,” said Mayor Hill.

Questions about the survey may be directed to the City Manager’s Office, (817) 748-8001. To learn more about the survey, please visit CityofSouthlake.com/CitizenSurvey.

Southlake Senior Activity Center will Celebrate National Senior Citizen Day

Friday, August 21, 2015 is National Senior Citizen Day, and the City of Southlake Senior Activity Center is celebrating with an Ice Cream Social.

The event, sponsored by Woodridge Health and Rehabilitation will take place at the Senior Activity Center on Friday, August 21 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. If you are 55 or better, be sure to register for the event by calling 817.748.8315 on or before Thursday, August 20 and then stop by on Friday to enjoy a scoop and socialize!

In 1988, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed August 21 as National Senior Citizens Day in honor of the senior citizens for all they have achieved throughout life and for all they continue to accomplish. The day was also created to bring awareness of social, health, and economic issues that affect senior citizens.

The Southlake Senior Activity Center recognizes the importance of celebrating this day, bringing awareness to the community and showing their appreciation to the senior citizens of the community.
