Carroll's Class of 2015 To Graduate Friday

graduationThe Carroll ISD Class of 2015 will graduate at Dragon Stadium on Friday, June 5.

Gates to the stadium for first come, first serve seating open at 6:30 p.m. Seniors must arrive no later than 6:15 p.m. The ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m.

Rehearsal begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday morning at Dragon Stadium and attendance is mandatory if graduating seniors are to participate in the Commencement ceremony. Students are responsible for their own transportation.

In the event of inclement weather, Carroll ISD will start Friday’s Commencement no later than 9 p.m. If postponed until Saturday, graduation times will be 11 a.m., 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. If postponed to Sunday, graduation will start at 2 p.m. In each scenario, gates to the stadium will open one hour before the rescheduled ceremony.

The Class of 2015 includes 668 Dragons. This year’s valedictorian is Chandler Groves and the salutatorian is Anthony Munson. Groves will attend UT Austin on an exclusive scholarship. Munson will attend Harvard.

Before graduating seniors walk across the stage, personalized messages from family and friends will appear on the Dragon Stadium video scoreboard. After the Commencement ceremony, families are welcome on to the field to congratulate and take pictures with their graduate.

Commemorative Graduation 2013 DVD On Sale Now!

Parents, relatives and recent Carroll ISD graduates can forever remember the Class of 2013 Graduation by purchasing a commemorative DVD through the Carroll ISD Board and Community Relations Department. Graduation was held on Friday, June 6 at Dragon Stadium. Click here to read highlights from the event.

Each DVD includes over 4 hours of footage and features the full-length Commencement Exercises. DVD extras include a list of every Class of 2013 graduate, a photo slideshow from Project Graduation and Videoboard Messages displayed at the stadium during graduation.

Pre-orders for this year’s DVD are currently available for pick up at the CISD Administration Center located at 2400 N. Carroll Avenue during regular business hours. There will also be extra copies available for purchase at $25 each. The purchase price of every DVD will go to the Carroll Senior High School PTO to cover costs associated with Project Graduation. 
Project Graduation is an annual event that takes place immediately following graduation ceremonies. The all-night, drug- and alcohol-free event is held at Main Event in Grapevine.
