The Carroll Varsity and JV teams dominated the field, with all four teams obtaining very low scores in this tremendously competitive new district. The top 3 schools in the varsity boys and girls divisions advance to the Regional meet in Lubbock on Oct. 29.
Carroll Head Coach Justin Leonard said, “We are extremely happy with our runners’ performances at the District 6A – 5 meet yesterday. Our kids came ready to compete and put forth a solid effort. To be able to sweep this strong district speaks volumes about the depth and determination of this group. We will regroup with our varsity teams and get ready for the remainder of our season heading into regionals. Our goal is still yet to be accomplished.”
