The Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve is a staple of our community for nature lovers, and our Outdoor Recreation Team is always planning fun and educational activities for our residents to make life-long memories. Cross Timbers Nature Club
Outdoor enthusiasts and young naturalists can look forward to this monthly after-school group to learn more about our local wildlife, explore the trails, and become stewards of the land! Our monthly themes include captivating topics such as antlions, lizards, bats, rabbits, and animals in the winter! Learn more today.
Monarch Butterfly Festival
Mark your calendars for September 16 as we celebrate the annual southern migration of the majestic Monarch Butterfly! We will release over 700 Monarch Butterflies into the wild and interact with them first-hand! The event comprises of three one-and-a-half-hour sessions. Each session has the same activities starting at 8:30 AM, 10:15 AM, and 12:00 PM. Grab your spot today!
