Thanksgiving break came and went, but there is still so much to be thankful for. Even though it’s already December, our Community Services team is grateful for our Holiday Day Break Camp Mania participants!
During Thanksgiving break, the Marq welcomed campers aged 5-11 for three days of recreational fun. School was out for the week, but Camp Mania participants made the best of their free time in a fun and safe environment where kids are #1. All campers enjoyed playing in Bicentennial Park, creative Thanksgiving crafts, fun group games, and swimming in our world-class Aquatics Center!
Not only did campers explore the amenities at Champions Club and Bicentennial Park, but they even took an off-site field trip! Campers spent a day at Altitude Trampoline Park in Southlake. A good time was had by all as our campers enjoyed jumping on the trampolines. In Camp Mania fashion, pizza and a movie made the busy schedule as well.
"We loved having our campers join us before the Thanksgiving Holiday. It is an honor to plan this camp throughout the year, and it's something our staff always looks forward to. A special thank you to our counselors for creating a fun and safe environment for our campers," Gretchen Morgan, Programs Coordinator.
If you didn’t get to join us for Holiday Break Camp Mania, this time, be sure to check out our upcoming dates. Camp will be back in session on January 17 and February 21.
See you next time, Campers!
