This week, we will meet Kathy Talley, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem, and learn the importance of community and connection.
Kathy and her family have lived in Southlake for 28 years, she was attracted to the city because of its excellent school district and the wonderful, close-knit community.
Searching for meaningful friendships and volunteer opportunities, Kathy found both at the Southlake Women's Club. This organization enabled her to connect with other women and taught her about Southlake’s Art in The Square Event.
Today, Kathy has been apart of Art in The Square for eight years. This event brings the community together and makes a positive impact through philanthropy, which is what Kathy loves most about it.
