Grubbs Infiniti to Announce Student Car Lease Winner

GrubbsGiving back has always been the passion and foundation of family-owned and operated Grubbs Infiniti. This year, Owner and General Manager George Grubbs III set his sights on encouraging better grades in DFW schools by giving away an Infiniti Q50 for a year on Friday, May 23rd at Carroll High School Football and Track Field.

Last year, Grubbs Infiniti donated more than $20,000.00 to local schools and charities through their Drive2Give program and GrubbsGives.com.  The Drive2Give Program allows schools, churches, civic or charitable organizations an easy way to raise funds by letting families test drive their top-of-the-line models.

GrubbsCSHS (1)“We love being able to give back to great organizations who are making a difference for families in this community” said George Grubbs III.  “With the construction of our new dealership in Grapevine and closer proximity to Southlake, we wanted to do even more.”

Working with Shawn Duhon, Principal of Carroll Senior High School, Grubbs Infiniti created Drive2Excellence to encourage students to work harder in school and achieve better grades.

“Of course, we gave them a great incentive… a brand new Q50 to drive for a year” said Grubbs.  “We wanted to make sure the students knew that we were serious about supporting them and their education.  We know we have amazing vehicles and being able to reward a student with a new car is something we’re really proud to do at Grubbs Infiniti.”GrubbsCSHS (2)

Students received tickets based on their academic achievements and performances. The better the student performed, the more chances they have to win the car. Duhon was pleased that striving for excellence in school gave his students something exciting to win like a new car from Grubbs Infiniti or one of 19 new computers donated by Dell Computers.  The event and giveaway is scheduled for Friday, May 23rd from 12- 1 p.m.at Carroll High School Football and Track Field.
