The City of Southlake and Fire Services is changing the billing company it uses for Emergency Medical Services (EMS.) The new company’s name is Emergicon. Emergicon is locally based and will provide more accurate billing for customers and superior customer service. Patients will typically be billed for ambulance services, transport to an area hospital and patient care enroute to the hospital. The City of Southlake and the Southlake Fire Department are focused on providing the best possible patient care and customer service to its citizens.
Thursday afternoon (8/23/2012) Ron Wright, Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector, is pleased to announce that property taxpayers in Tarrant County may now receive their property tax bills electronically. Taxpayers who request electronic bills will receive notice of tax bills by email.
To receive your 2012 tax bill electronically you must register prior to September 15, 2012. Electronic tax bills will be sent several days earlier than paper bills. Registrations after September 15 will receive the October bill by mail, but subsequent tax bills will be delivered electronically.
Taxpayers can register to receive tax bills by email on the Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector’s website, www.tarrantcounty.com/etax. This new electronic billing procedure has been designed to deliver property tax bills in a manner that is much more convenient for property owners and more efficient and cost effective for Tarrant County.
