Get Your Baskets Ready for This Year’s Easter in the Park!

Easter in the Park, one of Southlake’s most popular free family events, will return to North Park on Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Little girl meets a bunny at the Easter in the Park petting zoo

The Easter Bunny has been hard at work filling thousands of eggs with candy and toys for this year’s Easter in the Park, sponsored by Gateway Church. Hop over to North Park on March 24 to enjoy all the free fun, including:

  • Egg scrambles by age
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny
  • Balloon artists
  • Crafts
  • Inflatables
  • Petting zoo

…and so much more!

To ensure the safety of all participants, egg scrambles will be organized by age. In order to participate in the Golden Egg Hunt, children must be able to gather eggs without adult assistance.Little boy hunts for eggs at Easter in the Park

Egg Scramble Schedule:

10 a.m. – Children ages 2 & under
10:15 a.m. – Children ages 3-4
10:30 a.m. – Children ages 5-6
10:45 a.m. – Children ages 7-8
11 a.m. – Golden Egg Hunt for ages 9-12

Golden tickets will also be placed in a handful of eggs in each division for those lucky hunters to win a fun prize. Be sure to open your eggs before you leave so you can pick up your spring prize at the Parks and Recreation tent!

Easter in the Park is a FREE event with no registration required. Venue parking is limited, so please arrive early. We will also be providing free shuttle parking from the CISD Administration Building (2400 Carroll Ave), only half a mile east of North Park.

March Madness at Southlake Saturday Nite

March is approaching, and that means it’s time for our annual March Madness-themed Southlake Saturday Nite! 4th through 6th
graders, come dressed in your favorite college gear and celebrate your team with us on Saturday, March 23rd from 7:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. at Durham Intermediate School.

Compete against your friends on various inflatables or at 4-on-4 basketball. There will be a live DJ, dancing, entertainment and various contests. Concession items (everything under $2.00) will be sold and T-shirts will also be available to purchase for $10.00 each. To ensure a safe environment, there will be a uniformed DPS officer on site.

Cost is $8.00 and pre-registration is required. On site registration will now be taken! Space is limited so try to register early online or in person at the Community Services office located at 1400 Main St, Suite 210. For more information, please call (817) 748-8019.
