Champions Club fights summer boredom with the Kids Fitness Summer Series!
The Dog Days of Summer are here, and your little ones may be starting to get anxious after a month of summer vacation. Luckily for you, Champions Club is introducing the Kids Fitness Summer Series to get your children off the couch and hooked on staying active!
We know our Champions Club members are no strangers to the world of fitness. After all, you didn’t choose to become a member of a world-class facility for nothing. Here at Champions Club, we know that building lifelong healthy habits is a skill best learned early. We are here to share the joy of fitness and recreation with every single member, even the littlest champions!
The Kids Fitness Summer Series will introduce your child to fitness through fun and free classes! Located in the Fieldhouse at Champions Club and taught by our unbeatable group fitness instructors, this series is guaranteed to be a blast!

Kids Zumba- Wednesday, July 21 at 6:00 pm
Teach your children the joy of movement through dance and burn off the summer boredom to funky world-beats.
Kids High Fitness- Monday, July 26 at 6:00 pm
Kids will enjoy a fun, dance-focused class mixed up with all your favorites music! This class is sure to have your kids dancing to the beat as it combines interval training with easy-to-follow choreography.
Kids Sports Fit- Wednesday, July 28 at 6:00 pm
Develop your kiddo’s agility and coordination in this light and upbeat atmosphere. Your child will enjoy running, jumping, and showing off their skills!

They are back and more popular than ever! Claim your spot for Summer Camp Mania and Cross Timbers Nature Camp for a summer filled with world-class experiences and forming lifelong memories.
Camp Mania
Summer Camp Mania is bringing entertainment to campers this summer with plenty of fun surprises for the kiddos! Instead of field trips, guest artists and contractors will visit the camp to guarantee exciting and educational experiences every day. Learn about becoming a DJ, jump up and down in a wild bounce house, and express your personality with an airbrush tattoo from a guest artist. Camp favorite activities such as visiting Bicentennial Park, swimming in the Aquatics Center, and playing games with counselors will be back as well!
Cross Timbers Nature Camp
Cross Timbers Nature Camp will also open for registration for all nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts! Campers will have the opportunity to explore the trails, learn about the species that inhabit them, and become good stewards of our Cross Timbers Ecosystem.
Summer Camp Mania and Cross Timbers Nature Camp are each offered for nine weeks during the summer. Campers can register for one week or all nine; however, they must enroll and pay for each week they want to attend. Specialty camps will also be offered this summer for those interested in athletics, science, or STEAM. Learn all about our various camp offerings on our website.
If you know you want to register for camp, but aren’t sure which one is right for you, then make sure to attend our Camp Fair at Champions Club on April 17! Explore each summer camp’s booth where you can learn more about the activities planned for each one.

Champions Club at The Marq Southlake is well known for being the go-to training spot of champions, but how are champions made?
Champions are created from a young age, and it all begins with free play! While adult Champions Club members are leveling-up in the fitness area, young champions are unleashing their imagination at the Lil’ Champs Playground! Indeed, there are various benefits to indoor recreation for young champions-in-the-making.
The first benefit of indoor playgrounds is that they are not subject to the weather. We all know that Texas weather is unpredictable, going from blazing hot one day to icy cold in less than 24 hours. Luckily for little champions, the indoor playground is protected from the elements, ensuring that imaginations are not hindered by the outdoor climate.
Champions need to be independent and be able to make decisions. Free play allows children to play autonomously and make decisions about which activities to perform first. Additionally, playgrounds provide the set piece for group and role-play games, all while allowing the space for physical activity.
Lil’ Champs playground boasts all the requirements for an incredible indoor play session. Featuring multiple slides, an assortment of obstacle courses, and a fun game of hopscotch, little champions have various opportunities to challenge their minds and bodies while having a blast!
Not only is Lil’ Champs Playground the ideal place for recreational fun for Club members, but it is also the perfect backdrop to a one-of-a-kind children’s party. Champions Club offers two exceptional packages to party like a champion and celebrate the birthdays of our MVPs! Whether you take advantage of the Champs Package or the Ultimate Package, a day pass admission for twelve guests to the Indoor Playground is included in your two-hour party rental. There’s no denying that indoor playgrounds are both fun and fundamental to children’s well-being. If you are looking for a way to get your little champions active and away from the screen, then look no further than the Lil’ Champs Playground at Champions Club!
The indoor playground is currently welcoming Champion Club members 11 years old and younger to let their imaginations run wild! It is open Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Preschool Water Play made a Splash at Champions Club after hosting its first session last Friday, February 26.
The Toddler Pool at Champions Club was filled with little ones as the sounds of laughter and splashes filled the air. The February Water Play was just the first in a series of Preschool Water Play sessions that will be available this Spring. Each event includes a variety of structured aquatic activities, followed by time for free play afterward.
While there’s no denying that playing in a toddler pool is fun, there are more benefits to allowing your small child to participate in water play than meets the eye. Let’s dive into the advantages of water play!
Discovering water helps young children develop their sense of touch. Exploring opposing textures such as wet and dry, and experimenting with changes in temperature plays a role in learning to perceive their surroundings.
Apart from learning about diverse environments, water play is an excellent source of exercise for little bodies. Wading and playing in shallow water, kicking their legs, and experiencing water resistance is a great way for kids to be physically active. Additionally, water play helps ignite children’s imagination by engaging them in pretend play. Who doesn’t love playing pirates or mermaids at the pool?

Adventures in Science Club-Spring Break
Have a future scientist in the family? Then look no further than Adventures in Science Club-Spring Break! This Spring Break camp will offer naturally inquisitive children opportunities for hands-on experiments and projects. The best part is that most of the projects completed at camp can be taken home. Open to science-enthusiasts aged 6-13 years-old, this club gives students the tools they need to succeed all while having fun!
