Child Watch
Our littlest champions are bound to have a great time at our Child Watch facility. Work out with ease with the knowledge that your child is letting their imaginations run wild while under the watchful eye of our passionate Child Watch Attendants. Fitness should be a family affair, and we are happy to provide childcare services while you attend your group fitness class or shred it on the fitness floor!

Lil’ Champs Indoor Playground
The Indoor Playground is the perfect spot for the curious child looking to explore mobility in a fun setting. Our slides, interactive displays, and cushioned floor make our playground ideal for kids to play with friends without worrying about the heat. Parents can rest assured that their children are having a blast while being looked after by our dedicated Indoor Playground Attendants.

Aquatics Center
Splish and splash in our world-class Aquatics Center. Toddlers have a dedicated heated Toddler Play Pool that is shallow enough to allow for safe water play. Our Learn to Swim Instructors and Lifeguards love sharing their passion for swimming while ensuring your little one stays safe in the water. Don’t forget about our Private Swim Lessons and Toddler Water Play program!

Gone are the days of looking for childcare while you work out. Champions Club is truly a space for the entire family. Bring the kiddos and take advantage of our designated spaces for children. Watch as your child has the time of their life! Learn more about our Family membership packages here.

Southlake’s Youth Jiu Jitsu Program Teaches Life Skills Through Martial Arts

On March 19, 2018, the Southlake Parks and Recreation team celebrated Jiu Jitsu student Logan Hamilton’s successful promotion to Black Belt 1st Dan Shodan.

Logan (first row, far right) is the 38th Black Belt generated by Southlake’s martial arts program. His impressive accomplishment is just one example of the dedication, discipline and honor that our amazing students bring to the program under the leadership of instructor George Weidenhof.

One of our most popular youth classes, Jiu-Jitsu is a true mind-body experience that strengthens children’s physical, emotional and social skills. In addition to learning age-appropriate martial arts techniques that will prepare them to one day become a Black Belt, Jiu Jitsu students also learn respect, responsibility, self-esteem, confidence, discipline, heightened awareness and much more.

Registration is currently open for the City of Southlake’s spring Jiu Jitsu classes. Sign up today to see what all the excitement is about!
