Student Photo Contest Seeking Entries

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting an Outdoor Photo Contest for high school students with an interest in photography. The contest is open to all student currently enrolled in grades 9-12.

All pictures submitted for entry must be taken at Grapevine Lake and cannot be taken from the dam, dam structure or dam road. Entries are also not allowed to be taken using Instagram. Pictures must be submitted via email with the photographer’s name, high school, location and of the photo and type of camera/ device used. There are several contest categories for which a photo can be submitted. Entries will be accepted Monday, Feb. 4- Friday, April 12. Winners will receive a framed copy of their picture and the winning photo will be displayed at the Grapevine Lake Office and used on the Grapevine Lake website.
