Dragons Go Green

Southlake Green Fest returns for a fifth year to Town Square. Organizers are encouraging students in grades K-6 to keep their empty juice pouches for an opportunity to win an iPad courtesy of Natex Architects. Students received brown paper sacks to use to collect juice pouches but any paper sack will do. Last year, students turned in 2,193 empty pouches to be recycled.

Green Fest is a free, day-long outdoor event that celebrates the environment and green living. Visitors can learn about energy efficient technologies as well as ways to reduce their carbon footprint. Click here to learn more about Southlake Green Fest.
