LiveFit Southlake Mid-Challenge Check-up

Monday, February 29 is the midpoint of the LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge. Come to The Marq Southlake from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and get your checkup to see how living fit and healthy has helped improved your health.

The LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge is meant to get the whole family involved in living active and fit lifestyles. The fun part of the challenge is the chance to collect points towards great prizes. By coming to the mid-challenge checkup, LiveFit Southlake participants will get an additional 5 points to add to their totals.

LiveFit Southlake kicks off January 30 with a Health Fair

Join the City of Southlake as we kick off the LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge on January 30 at The Marq Southlake.

The doors will open at 10:00 am, and the fun will wind down at 1:00 pm. Bring the whole family and learn how you can take steps to ensure you meet your goal of living healthy and being fit. Local businesses and clinics will have booths sharing great tips and advice for living healthy. Baylor Regional Medical Center of Grapevine will also be providing free health screenings for everyone to enjoy.

If you have not registered for the Wellness Challenge yet, you can find it online at LiveFitSLK.com or visit the booth at the Health Fair to receive your free t-shirt and start earning points. All LiveFit Southlake events and registration are free and open to the public.

After you have registered, don’t forget to take advantage of the free month of group fitness classes during the month of February! Classes included in this deal are Zumba, Zumba Gold, Belly Dancing and Mommy and Me Yoga.

Make a resolution to stay fit with the LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge

If you made a resolution to stay fit, active, and healthy in the New Year but haven’t had a chance to get started, then the City of Southlake and the Community Services Department have a great opportunity for you. Starting Saturday, January 30, the 10-week LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge kicks off. This challenge, which is meant for the whole family, is aimed at promoting and encouraging community health and wellness while building both physical and mental strength.

The goal of the challenge is to provide residents every opportunity to get involved and improve their lifestyles, all while having a lot of fun. LiveFit is also an excellent chance for you and your family to explore and enjoy all of Southlake’s city parks and recreation facilities. Events range from Walks with the Mayor and Health Fairs to Lunch & Learns and a 5K/Fun Run.
