This year marks the 25th anniversary of this beloved celebration, and we have an amazing lineup of activities for all ages. Kids can enjoy snow hills, holiday train rides, and even a gingerbread decorating contest, while adults can explore local vendors and enjoy live entertainment throughout the afternoon! We hear there's even going to be a guest appearance all the way from the North Pole!

As the night unfolds, gather with friends and family for the grand finale — the lighting of our beautiful Christmas tree, which will illuminate Town Square in a festive glow. Don’t miss the one-minute firework show that will follow, making the night sparkle even brighter!

The City is eager to kick off Home for the Holidays – Christmastime in Southlake with the Annual Tree Lighting event on November 18th from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Join us for this dreamlike display of illumination as Town Square becomes a glowing beacon of hometown magic and holiday cheer.
At this year’s Annual Tree Lighting event, visitors can expect to watch the impressive work of ice sculptors, take thrilling rides on the Snow Hill, enjoy live performances from local organizations, and much more!

Lights, Santa, Action…. Mark your calendars for Home for the Holidays-Christmastime in Southlake 2022!
Gather your family and friends and come on down to Southlake Town Square to celebrate the jolliest season ever! Festivities kick off on Saturday, November 19, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place at 6 p.m.
This year’s attendees can look forward to experiencing the magic of the holidays in every corner of Town Square from the live entertainment on the main stage, to the Handbell Choir ringing in your favorite tunes, to Christmas Carolers serenading the crowd. There’s something for everyone.
Visitors can also enjoy carriage rides, ice sculptor demonstrations and cookie decorating. For our adventurous kiddos, the famous snow hill ride will also return.
If you’re hungry, delicious treats and food vendors will also be on site.
Let’s not forget to go by Santa’s Village stationed at the Pavilion in Rustin Family Park to take a picture with Santa Claus.

You’re invited to watch Southlake Town Square light-up for the holiday season at the City of Southlake’s annual Home for the Holidays — Christmastime in Southlake Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November 20 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at approximately 6:00 p.m.
This whimsical celebration kicks off the holiday season with a variety of family-friendly entertainment, arts and crafts, and delectable holiday treats.
Grab a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy free event activities such as cookies decorating, ornament crafting, writing letters to Santa, carriage rides with your family and friends, pictures with Santa and his elves, and sliding down our 12-foot-high snow hill. This year, there will be a second snow hill designed specifically for small children.
Southlake Fire Department will have their Fill the Truck Toy Drive.
