New promotional video released for The Marq Southlake

The City of Southlake’s Community Services Department has just released a new promotional video for the The Marq Southlake. The video provides an overview of what The Marq Southlake will offer both residents and visitors.

The video showcases both Phase 1, scheduled to be completed this December, and Phase 2, which is scheduled to break ground in September of 2016 and be completed in January of 2018.  Phase 1 highlights include Legends Hall which houses Traditions Ballroom, Legacy Meeting Rooms, The Club Lounge and the new Senior Activity Center as well as Aria, an outdoor amphitheater. Phase 2 highlights include fitness studios, child watch, aquatics and more!

The Marq Southlake will host a Grand Opening Open House on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 411 Unity Way, Southlake, TX 76092 and will provide attendees with guided tours of Legends Hall and Aria. This event is free and open to the public.

Register for Southlake Recreation's Fall/Winter Programs at the Open House July 31st

CoverThe City of Southlake Recreation Department is hosting an Open House on Thursday, July 31st from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. in Family Park located in Southlake Town Square (1400 Main St). The event will be a kick-off for Southlake Recreation’s fall registrations.

At the Open House, you will meet the Southlake Recreation staff and learn more about the programs being offered this fall. While you register for your favorite  programs, you will also enjoy complimentary refreshments and receive fun giveaways. The first thirty registrations at the Open House will receive a hard copy of the Southlake Scene, make sure to come early.

Some of the programs you will find in the fall issue include Monster Mash, Fall Family Campout, Holiday Break Camp Mania and Breakfast with Santa. Several of these programs fill up quickly, so make sure to register early!

Southlake Recreation Open House Offers Camp Discounts

Southlake Scene The City of Southlake Recreation Department is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, April 1st from 4:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m at Rustin Pavilion (1400 E Southlake Blvd) in Southlake Town Square. The event will be a kick-off for Southlake Recreation’s summer registrations.

At the Open House, you will meet the Southlake Recreation staff and learn more about the programs being offered this summer. There will also be a special discount for registering at the event. All Camp Mania and Teen Scene registrations made at the Open House will receive a 10% discount.  To be prepared, view the Camp Mania and Teen Scene camp information.

While you register for your favorite summer programs, you will also enjoy complimentary refreshments and receive summer giveaways. The first thirty registrations at the Open House will receive a hard copy of the Southlake Scene, make sure to come early.

The 2014 Summer Southlake Scene will be online April 1st, one month earlier than the normal release date of May 1st. The earlier release date was decided so that parents will have more time to plan summer activities for the family.
