Local representatives with Kids Matter International seeks volunteers needed to help shop with families in need of new clothes for the sixth annual “Around the Block” event.
Organizers say the “Around the Block” will outfit over 1,000 children from the DFW Metroplex with brand new clothes. Each child receives $100 to spend that evening at Kohl’s along with a new pair of shoes from Buckner International. Over 400 volunteers are needed to help the families shop.
Southlake’s “Around the Block” is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 4-9 p.m. at the Kohl’s department store located at 3001 Texas Highway 114.
Volunteers can choose to help for a few hours or the entire event. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. To volunteer for the event, visit http://mywebsitepronto.com/clients/kidsmatter/volunteer or contact Jill at email@example.com.
