Lady Dragons Win District Opener; Dragons Fall

The Carroll Lady Dragons opened District 4-5A play in dominating fashion. The Lady Dragons routed Keller Central 57-25 on Wednesday at CSHS, in a game that was rescheduled due to inclement weather. Carroll improved to 10-3 overall and was led in scoring by Priscilla Smeenge with 17. Anna Hurlburt added 12 and Madison Drescher scored eight. The Lady Dragons held Keller Central to single digits in all four quarters.  The Lady Dragons return to action Friday at 6 p.m. at Keller Timber Creek.

Dragons Fall To Carrollton Smith
The Dragons fell 59-57 on Wednesday at CSHS to Carrollton Smith. The Dragons were led by Cole Partyka’s 11 points. Sammy Silver added eight. The Dragon trailed by four at halftime, but pulled even heading into the fourth quarter. The Dragons return to action Tuesday, Dec. 17 with the start of District 4-5A play against Richland. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. at CSHS.
