My Southlake News

The Southlake Arts Council is looking for home-grown talent to display for the annual Southlake Presents exhibit.

Applications for this year’s Southlake Presents art show and competition are now open!

The Southlake Arts Council, in collaboration with the APEX Arts League, is excited to bring this award-winning art show back to Southlake Town Hall. Southlake Presents captures the range of Southlake’s talent through this innovative public art exhibit that exclusively features art by Southlake residents.

We called for Southlake-based artists, and you delivered!

The Southlake Arts Council had a great time conducting the blind jury for this year’s Southlake Presents Art Show and Competition during their March meeting. We solicited 2D works of art from Southlake’s resident artists, and received world-class submissions from multiple unique creators!

While we can't feature every artist that submitted, the Southlake Arts Council greatly appreciates every artist who submitted their work for consideration.

After vigorous deliberation, here are the artists selected for the 2023 Southlake Presents Art Show and Competition:

  • Andrea Shaw
  • Klaus Mayer
  • Aparna Srivatsa
  • Wafa Abbasi
  • Ethan Jones
  • Mary Sweeney Howe
  • Penelope Palumbo
  • David Walsh
  • Christopher Sanders
  • Deanna Kienast

Congratulations to all featured artists!
