In accordance with Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s action that allows telephonic or videoconference meetings of governmental bodies that are accessible to the public and reduce in-person interaction and encourage social distancing, the Planning and Zoning Commission/Sign Board will hold a virtual session May 7. (Please note that the Planning and Zoning Commission Serves as the Sign Board for the City of Southlake).

The special meeting is being held in compliance with Governor Greg Abbott’s action that allows telephonic or videoconference meetings of governmental bodies that are accessible to the public, yet reduce in-person interaction and encourage social distancing. The consideration to delay Southlake’s General and Bond Elections is based on Governor Abbott’s proclamation allowing political subdivisions to move their general and special elections to the next uniform election date, November 3, 2020.

SPARK will host a meeting entitled “Technology Terrors,” on January 26, 2015 from 7:30p.m. to 9:00p.m. This adults only event (18 and older) will take place at Southlake Town Hall located on the third floor. Jody Hawkins, Information Systems Security Officer at Cook Children’s Hospital will be speaking at the event on this issue.
