Middle School Choirs Deliver Perfection

Carroll Middle School choir teacher Marla Ringel proudly announced recent contest results. The competition was held on Tuesday, March 6.

Ringel says the Carroll and Dawson Middle School Women’s and Men’s Choirs received perfect scores. This was the first time in school history the choirs competed as varsity ensembles.

Among the competitors, Carroll was the only school that all ensembles received perfect scores. The men’s choir was also the only varsity group to receive perfect scores from both their stage and sight-reading judges.

The students continue to be busy this spring rehearsing for future contests. The students will perform in the annual Hurricane Harbor Choir Festival scheduled for Friday, May 4 at Birdville High School Auditorium. The group’s Spring Show will be on Tuesday, May 22 at 6 p.m. at the Carroll Middle School stage.
