Southlake Residents Receive National 4-H FilmFest Award

The National 4-H FilmFest provides a forum for a growing number of young filmmakers to show their work and learn from working professionals in the film industry.

Categories for films this year are: Narrative, Animation, Documentary, 4-H Promotional, and Voices of 4-H History. Prizes were awarded to the top films in each category by judges who are all members of the film industry.

At this year’s FilmFest held in Branson, MO, August 4-7, Southlake residents, Cameron Milton—Screenplay writer/Director and Gage Milton—Videographer/Editor received the Audience Favorite award for their narrative film, “Gun Play.”
