Pavement reconstruction began this week on Timberline Court.

On Monday, April 25, 2016, the Public Works Streets Division began work to reconstruct Timberline Court, located off Continental Boulevard. Crews began removing the existing surface, re-grading the road. and will install a new drive surface for residents.

Crews will also begin reconstructing Woodsey Court and work at both locations is expected to last approximately ninety (90) days (weather permitting).

Timberline Court and Woodsey Court were two roads identified as being in “Poor to Fair” condition, as defined by the City’s annual pavement management program assessment. Every year,  one-third of City streets are analyzed for surface quality and structural integrity. Roads that fall below the 50% threshold for overall quality are added to a future workplan for reconstruction.  The goal of this pavement management program is to maintain the City’s roadway infrastructure and to ensure an overall roadway quality of 78%, or “Good to Excellent” condition. Currently, the City has an overall roadway quality rating of 82%.
