The rapidly growing concept, Pie Five Pizza, will bring its 12th DFW-area restaurant to 2645 East Southlake Blvd in Southlake, near Dragon Stadium, on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
Rebecca Rankin, general manager of the chain’s seventh new location to open this year, can’t wait to introduce the Southlake community to the revolutionary fast-casual concept.
“Word is spreading around DFW that Pie Five is a truly better way to experience your favorite pizza,” said Rankin, who transferred from the Pie Five on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. “Once people come in and see how easy it is to get their own perfect pizza with whatever toppings they want all for one great price, they’re hooked. Then they tell their friends about us. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy working here so much. We’re like a cool new discovery that people love to share.”
At Pie Five, guests can choose from more than a million combinations of handcrafted pizzas and a variety of specialty pie choices prepared in less than five minutes on one of four crusts. The rapidly expanding chain is capitalizing on growing consumer demand for fresh dining options and artisan pizzas in stylish environments without the wait.
Prior to Monday’s official opening, the new Southlake restaurant will host private events to raise funds for Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE), a Grapevine-based non-profit relief agency that provides assistance for individuals and families in crisis. Rankin will present a check to GRACE representatives during the grand opening ceremony at 10:30 AM on Monday. The Southlake Chamber of Commerce will also be on-hand for the official ribbon cutting.
The restaurant will be featured on WFAA’s Daybreak program early Monday prior to the grand opening. During one of the segments, Pie Five will announce a special offer on-air that will be available at all 12 DFW-area locations.
Pie Five Pizza Co., a subsidiary of Pizza Inn Holdings, Inc., has been named a 2013 Top 50 Restaurant Brand of the Year, a 2012 Hot Concepts winner byNation’s Restaurant News and one of “10 Hot New Restaurant Chains from Established Brands” by Forbes.com.
