Students, faculty and staff of Carroll ISD are showing their support for the Red Ribbon Campaign the week of Oct. 22, 2012. Red Ribbon Week in Carroll starts on Monday, Oct. 22 and runs through Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.
The annual event aims at helping America’s youth make a promise to be drug free. Each Carroll ISD campus takes a different approach to celebrating Red Ribbon Week. Most schools offer students the chance to participate in designated dress up days, including pajama day and crazy hat day. Visit the Carroll ISD website for details about campus happenings.
The Red Ribbon Campaign started in 1980. The grassroots organization was a result of determined parents who wanted to play a leadership role in drug prevention. Visit the Red Ribbon Campaign’s website by clicking here.
