Texas Governor Rick Perry will speak at an upcoming event hosted by the NE Tarrant Tea Party. The event is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. at the NRH Centre located at 6000 Hawk Avenue in North Richland Hills. The event is free and the public is welcome.

Julie McCarty, President of NETTP, explained, “NE Tarrant Tea Party is committed to helping ordinary citizens have a voice in politics, and hosting Governor Perry – as well as a slew of our own local Reps – is just one way we’re doing that.”

The speaker line-up includes Governor Rick Perry, State Representatives-Elect Giovanni Capriglione (R-D98), Jonathan Stickland (R-D92), Matt Krause (R-D93), Stephanie Klick (R-D91), and Craig Goldman (R-D97), State Representative Bill Zedler (R-D6), and State Senator-Elect Kelly Hancock (R-D9).

The current series, Preparing for the TX Legislative Session, has already covered topics such as the Budget Boondoggle, TX Roadways, and Education Funding & School Choice. The series will conclude in January with “An Insider’s Look at Austin”, as well as a review of Public Pensions.
