FM 1938 Roadway Work
Update: 3/17/16 – TxDOT delays roadway paving to Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00am to 3:30pm.
As part of the FM 1938 construction project, TxDOT will install temporary pavement between Florence Road and Palomar Trail Friday, March 18, 2016.
On Friday, March 18, 2016, TxDOT contractors will close various lanes of traffic between Florence Road and Palomar Trail to install temporary pavement. The work is planned between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm and shouldn’t impact the morning or evening peak traffic hours.
Please exercise caution if traveling in the area.

Curb installation along Continental Boulevard
Public Works crews begin installing new curb along East Continental Boulevard at Byron Nelson Parkway.
Beginning today, Monday, February 29, 2016, Southlake Public Works Streets/Drainage Division will be installing laydown curb along the south side of East Continental Boulevard, from Byron Nelson eastward approximately 650 feet, as part of the City’s pavement management program. Crews will be working between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm and the work is expected to be completed by end of day on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
The eastbound lanes beginning at Byron Nelson have been reduced to one lane during the construction hours. Motorists need to be aware of this new configuration and to please pay special attention while the work is being done.

Road work along Continental Boulevard
Update: 8/11/15 – Work on E. Continental Boulevard expected to be complete by August 21, 2015.
Beginning Monday, August 10, 2015, Southlake Public Works Street Division will rehabilitate a segment of road from E. Continental Boulevard, east of the roundabout, to South Hollow Drive. Work includes pothole repair and will take place between the hours of 7:00am and 4:00pm and is expected to take a week, weather permitting.
Motorists should be aware of the work and take precaution if traveling in the area. Message boards will be out alerting the traveling public to the work being done.
