Orange Barrel Alert – Southlake Heritage Construction on S. Kimball Avenue

Beginning Monday October 6, 2014,  the inside lanes in both directions of  S. Kimball Avenue between Nolen Drive and Continental Boulevard will be closed for median demolition and construction related to the Southlake Heritage commercial development.  These lanes will be closed daily from approximately 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and construction is expected to last about two weeks (weather permitting).

Motorist traveling along this segment of S. Kimball Avenue should exercise caution for the duration of the construction.

Orange Barrel Alert – Storm Drain Installation on S. Kimball Avenue near Continental Boulevard

UPDATE: 9/23/2014

Starting tomorrow evening, September 24th the northbound, outside lane of S. Kimball Avenue near Varios Systems and the intersection of Continental Boulevard will be closed to allow for curing of new concrete. Traffic heading north will need to use the northbound inside lane in this area.

On Thursday evening, September 25th the northbound, inside lane of S. Kimball Avenue near Varios Systems will be closed to pour and cure concrete.  The outside lane will be open to northbound traffic.

Construction is expected to be complete with both lanes open on Friday, September 26th.

Starting Tuesday, September 16, 2014, the northbound outside lane of S. Kimball Avenue near Varios Systems (see map) and the intersection of Continental Blvd, will be shut down intermittently so work crews can install a storm drain connection for the Legends of Southlake Development.

Work is expected to be take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. Work is expected to be complete September 26, 2014–weather permitting.
